Released in Caracole's Spring 2024 collection, the Vuelta is upholstered on every visible surface in light Taupe velvet, a soft, warm neutral that flatters both cool white interiors and rooms with walnut, brass or bronze accents. The cushions are plush poly foam, which gives the seat and back their generous, enveloping shape. Below, a conical base rests on an Almost Black plinth, so the chair appears to rise from a single dark point on the floor, and the contrast between pale velvet and near-black base gives the design its poise. In a South Florida setting the effect is particularly good against pale stone or wide-plank oak floors, whether in a Coconut Grove home or a Brickell tower.
