The Theodore Alexander Adele Dining Armchair extends the Adele's scoop back into a pair of upholstered arms, wrapping the sitter in soft Swathe fabric while the tapering beech legs keep the silhouette light. Designed for the head of the table or for a dining room where guests linger, it gives hosts in Miami a comfortable, fully upholstered seat that still looks refined alongside slimmer side chairs.

Design & Craftsmanship

This armchair is part of Theodore Alexander's TA Studio collection. The beech wood frame is finished in Rowan (VCF1453.1J2GA3F), a mid-tone that appears on the exposed legs beneath the seat. The upholstery is Swathe fabric, code UP5100, woven from 61% rayon, 28% olefin and 11% linen with a W cleaning code, which gives it a textured, natural hand. Because the back, arms and seat are all upholstered as one continuous form, the chair feels enveloping without looking heavy. Place a pair of them at the ends of a long table in a Pinecrest or Coral Gables home, or use the Theodore Alexander Adele Dining Armchair on its own at a small round table.
