Design & Craftsmanship
Pine wood and pine veneer are wire-brushed and cerused in the Sea Salt finish (PCF1168.1C2HA3F), which leaves the grain visible under a pale, salt-washed surface. The top is assembled as a sunburst of veneer that radiates from the center, and the base is a ring of shaped wooden slats. A single 16" (40.6 cm) extending leaf drops in to turn the circle into an oval. The Theodore Alexander Breeze Slatted Extending Dining Table is built for the way South Florida homes entertain: closed for a weeknight dinner in a Pinecrest breakfast room, open for a Thanksgiving crowd in a Coral Gables dining room. The Breeze side chair, arm chair and upholstered arm chair share the same finish, and a fixed 64" round version is also available for rooms that never need to grow.
