Design & Craftsmanship
Beech wood underpins a veneer programme of poplar burl, walnut, burl, sycamore, satinwood and okoume, cut and assembled so the figure runs the length of the surface. The Toffee finish (VCF2171) ties those woods into one warm brown that reads well against pale plaster and dark panelling alike. The Theodore Alexander Chloris Console Table belongs to Theodore Alexander's Perch collection, and an Anti-Tip kit is supplied so the piece can be secured to the wall, which is worth doing when it serves as an entryway table holding keys, a lamp and the post. In Key Biscayne or Miami Beach homes it does equally good service behind a floating sofa.
