Design & Craftsmanship
The Delray is the more enveloping of the two side chairs in Theodore Alexander's Coastal collection. Instead of an exposed wooden back, the seat and back are upholstered together in UP7283 polyester-linen fabric (90% polyester, 10% linen) with a W cleaning code, so most spills wipe away with water-based cleaners. The Sandbar version (PCF1261) has a clean edge with no trim; the Tobacco version (VCF2250) adds welting for a slightly more tailored line. Both share an oak wood frame that is left visible at the legs. With a 34" overall height, the Delray sits a little lower than the Northwood side chair, which keeps the room feeling open when six are gathered around a Vero or St. Armands table in a Brickell dining room.
