Flight Console Table

The Theodore Alexander Flight Console Table is a 60-inch statement piece for a hallway, a dining room wall or the space behind a sofa. Its rectangular Khaya veneered top rests on two offset panels finished in Pewter Argento and painted with cranes in flight, each panel raised on an acrylic base and capital so the whole composition seems to hover. The crane-painted panels make this an entryway table for a client who wants art and function in the same object.

Design & Craftsmanship

The decorative work is what sets the piece apart: PCF225B Pewter Argento with decor on the supporting panels, hand-painted with birds in flight, alongside the VCF419 Daniellia 3rd veneer finish. Clear acrylic bases and capitals pick up daylight and keep the silhouette from feeling heavy, while the stepped plinth base gives the console an architectural, grounded stance. An anti-tip kit is supplied so the piece can be secured to the wall.
