The Theodore Alexander Gaston Queen Bed is a piece for someone who wants a bedroom with a sense of occasion. Fluted columns flank an upholstered headboard and footboard, Old English acanthus cast brass accents crown the posts, and a floral brass inlay runs through the wood. Design & Craftsmanship

Designed for Theodore Alexander's Stephen Church collection, the bed combines khaya wood and khaya veneer, which TA also describes as solid mahogany with figured etimoe veneer, all finished in Walcot (VCF1473.2DB). The upholstered panels in the head and footboard soften a frame that is otherwise architectural, and the fluted columns give it the vertical rhythm of classical furniture. It is made for a US Queen mattress and sold as a single SKU. In a Coral Gables or Pinecrest home with traditional architecture, the Theodore Alexander Gaston Queen Bed holds its own against paneling and crown moulding, and the Walcot finish reads warm against pale walls.
