Design & Craftsmanship

Three materials meet in this design: brass, figured eucalyptus veneer and glass. Legs and frame are surfaced in eucalyptus and finished in Plaza (VCF1885), while the Glazed Champagne metal of the stretcher sits at the centre of the composition, framed by the round glass above it. Because the glass is translucent rather than clear, the table gains depth when you look down at it and stays quiet when you see it from across the room.
