The Theodore Alexander Julienne Chair is a carved mahogany dining chair with a cartouche-shaped upholstered back, an upholstered seat and cabriole legs that end in scroll feet. Design & Craftsmanship

From the TA Originals collection, the Julienne is hand carved in khaya mahogany and finished in two Gibson tones, Gibson Gold 2 (PCF786) and Gibson 55 (VCF1127.2D), with gilt highlights that trace the carving. The cartouche back frames a padded panel while the seat sits at 19½", and the piece is welted at the trim for a tailored edge. The velvet is a cotton-rich blend (95% cotton, 5% composition) with an S cleaning code. Around a formal table in Coral Gables or a Miami Beach residence with tall ceilings, the Theodore Alexander Julienne Chair adds sculptural carving and deep colour without crowding the room. Because the frame is fully carved, the cabriole legs read beautifully from every angle, including from behind when the chairs are pulled out.
