Kesden Console Table

Sixty inches wide and only sixteen deep, the Theodore Alexander Kesden Console Table is built for the narrow spaces that usually defeat a console: a hallway, the wall behind a floating sofa, the run between two doorways. The top is tamo ash burl, its swirling grain spread the full length of the piece, and it sits on a brass frame whose legs curve away instead of squaring off. Slender, but with enough visual weight to hold a long wall on its own.

Design & Craftsmanship

Burl is cut from the irregular growth of the tree, which is why the figure ripples and doubles back on itself; across a surface this long it becomes the main event. The colorway shown is Pyramid Brown, warm and mid-toned, carried on a satin brass frame in the MCF538.B-LBB brass finish. An anti-tip kit is included. The design sits in the Kesden collection alongside cocktail and side tables in the same organic idiom.
