Painted in Grey Limestone with Light Stockton fretwork picked out across the drawer fronts, the Theodore Alexander Morning Room Chest is a four-drawer chest that behaves like a decorative object. The blind fretwork drawers, four in all, each carry brass handles, and the case rests on bracket feet. At 42 inches wide it suits a bedroom as a compact dresser, but it is equally at home in an entry hall or a dressing room where the painted pattern can be seen up close.

Design & Craftsmanship

The chest comes from Theodore Alexander's Morning Room collection, and the pattern is what defines it: a blind fret, worked in relief rather than cut through, painted in Light Stockton (PCF465) over the Grey Limestone paint (PCF547) of the case. Brass handles, the only material TA lists for the piece, sit against the pale ground. An anti-tip kit is provided.
