Design & Craftsmanship

Part of Theodore Alexander's English Cabinet Maker collection, this side chair layers three finishes across its veneers: Silverdale 55 (VCF565.2D), Southampton 55 (VCF663.2D) and Fenesatin 55 (VCF942.1A2D), so the mahogany, satinwood and burl each keep their own colour and figure. The finely veneered arched toprail sits between reeded uprights, and the reeding continues down the square tapering legs to the spade feet. The Harmony (UP2221) upholstery is finished with welting, and the seat height is 19¼".
