Simple Pleasures Bar Stool

The Theodore Alexander Simple Pleasures Bar Stool is a swivel leather bar stool with an antiqued slung seat suspended between turned splay legs, an X stretcher below and a brass foot rest. Based on an original Regency design, it is made for a kitchen island or home bar where the seating has to be comfortable enough to linger on and handsome enough to be seen from the living room.

Design & Craftsmanship

Theodore Alexander's TA Originals collection builds the frame in khaya wood finished in Walnut (VCF001) and adds a brass foot rest to the stretcher, the metal warming the dark wood. The slung seat is Old Brown leather (LE0012) with a Dark Brown finish (LCF417) and TA Vintage Nail trim along the edges, and it swivels so you can turn from the counter to the room without dragging the stool. At 28½ inches the seat height suits bar-height counters, with the stool standing 42 inches tall overall.
