Federal-era proportions, made now: the Theodore Alexander Sloane Console Table draws its top edges inward in a soft curve, then sets the whole 48-inch surface on tapered legs that thin as they fall. The figure across the top is okoume crotch veneer, fanning out from the centre line.

Design & Craftsmanship

Khaya wood forms the carcase, okoume and yewtree burl veneers cover it, and brass appears in small measure at the detail points. The Edwardian Brown finish (VCF1831) brings the woods to a warm, even brown that showroom lighting lifts nicely, and it is the finish the piece is shown in.
