Surrey Upholstery Bed

The Theodore Alexander Surrey Upholstery Bed takes the crisp lines of early 19th-century furniture and reworks them into a contemporary oak-framed upholstered bed. A slim band of oak outlines a generously padded headboard and footboard, hand finished in Brownstone or Dover. It is sold as one product in Queen, King and California King and suits a primary bedroom, guest room or waterfront condo.

Design & Craftsmanship

Theodore Alexander builds the Surrey collection from oak wood and oak veneer, and here the frame wraps a headboard upholstered in UP7283 fabric, a 90% polyester and 10% linen weave with a W cleaning code and no trim. The two finishes are Brownstone (VCF1883) and Dover (VCF1884). Queen is made in Brownstone only; King and California King come in either finish. Every size accepts most adjustable bases; TA recommends a 6" box spring. In a Key Biscayne or Miami Beach bedroom the Theodore Alexander Surrey Upholstery Bed reads light against white walls, and matching pieces exist in the Surrey collection.
