A reeded-edge bowfront top with protruding corners sits above leaf-carved and reeded uprights, and three graduated drawers with verdigris brass handles fill the case between them. It is sized generously for a bedside, with room on top for a lamp, a carafe and a stack of books, and it suits anyone who likes classic carving without dark wood.

Design & Craftsmanship

The case is khaya wood and khaya veneer, painted in Faux Grey Marble (PCF720), which TA describes as a limewash effect: soft, chalky and slightly mottled, so the reeding and leaf carving read as texture rather than contrast. The verdigris hardware brings a green-tinged patina that sits naturally against the grey, and the Faux Grey Marble finish itself is easy to pair with linen, rattan and pale floors. The three drawers step up in depth from top to bottom, keeping small items in the shallow drawer and bulkier things below, and turned legs raise the case for an airy stance. An anti-tip kit comes in the box.
