Design & Craftsmanship

The Wootton Hall chair is built in khaya wood with okoume veneer, the mahogany-type timber that Theodore Alexander uses throughout its Althorp Living History collection, a line of reproductions drawn from the furniture of the Spencer family's Althorp estate. The frame wears the Ramsey Mahogany finish (VCF133), a deep, polished brown that lets the carving read in relief, while the crest is applied by hand in the Antique logo painting technique (PCF054L4).
