The Theodore Alexander Viscount's Nightstand is a flame mahogany bedside table banded in Movingue and rosewood, with a rectangular top that has canted corners and a three-quarter brass gallery. Three drawers with fine brass handles sit above paneled tapering legs, so the piece has the storage of a small chest and the lightness of a table. It suits a traditional primary bedroom where a matched pair would frame the bed, and it works as a lamp table in a living room too.

Design & Craftsmanship

Theodore Alexander builds this rosewood banded nightstand from khaya wood with khaya, okoume, morado and anigre veneers, so the flame figure and the contrasting bands are real wood. The Daventry finish (VCF1497.2A3B) gives the mahogany tones warmth and depth, and the brass gallery keeps lamps and books from sliding off the canted-corner top. Each of the three drawers is fitted with fine brass handles.
