A short but simple leg makes for adequate ventilation. And, yes, a decorative brass heel makes it elegant. This version is the untufted look. It is low, edited, and ultimately modern. The form is now important but unembellished. There is a hint of refinement, but the look really depends on the fabric. That allows for the bed to be tightly integrated into the color scheme.
