Description

Create a captivating sleep space with the meticulous Baker Moderne Platform Bed. The platform bed is one of the most architectural but overlooked furniture forms. Of course, Thomas Pheasant sees things a little differently. There really isn't any reason it can't be appropriately restrained but still luxurious. With the Baker Moderne Platform Bed, he looked to architecture itself for a means of elevating the look to something more dignified. The addition of a stepped cove molding makes a difference. A short but simple leg makes for adequate ventilation. And, yes, a decorative brass heel makes it elegant. This version is the untufted look. It is low, edited, and ultimately modern. The form is now important but unembellished. There is a hint of refinement, but the look really depends on the fabric. That allows for the bed to be tightly integrated into the color scheme. Perfect for contemporary and modern bedrooms, the Baker Moderne Platform Bed is not only stylish but functional as well.
