Design & Craftsmanship
Introduced in Caracole's Fall 2023 collection, the Clipper rests on a rounded plinth base finished in Charcoal Leaf and detailed with fine micro-reeding, so the base reads like a gear or cog and blends classicism with a hint of industrial design. Inside, the frame is 8-way hand tied and the seat is a spring down cushion, for long-term support with a soft, sink-in surface. The 96-inch width seats three across a 77-inch seat, while the low 29-inch back keeps sightlines open, a real benefit in Brickell and Edgewater high-rises where the view is the main event. Angle the Caracole Clipper Sofa toward a wall of glass or set it in the center of a Coconut Grove great room; the reeded plinth base and metallic back are designed to be seen from every direction.
