Named for the cutaway men's dress shirt, this upholstered sofa features vertical cuts along the outside back filled with textured metal inserts in Brushed Gold, while canted arms inspired by a folding three-panel screen create a subtle taper finished with exposed wood trim in warm Seal Skin. Design & Craftsmanship
Introduced in Caracole's Fall 2023 collection, the Cut Away is as carefully engineered inside as it is detailed outside. The seat rides on an 8-way hand tied spring foundation, the seat cushion is a spring down construction, and the back pillows are feather down for a soft, sink-in finish. The Seal Skin wood trim traces the angled arms in a warm, dark tone, and the Brushed Gold metal inserts on the back give the sofa a jewelry-like detail that catches evening light.
