Taking its cue from a mid-century candlestick, the Caracole Gamma Spot Table is the most compact member of Caracole's Side Table Collection. A six-inch white stone top is inset like a precious gem into a slender metal frame that widens to a sturdy base, all finished in Whisper of Gold. This narrow spot table is meant for the places a conventional end table cannot go: a reading nook, the gap beside a swivel chair, or a corner where guests need somewhere to rest a glass.
Design & Craftsmanship
The Gamma arrived in Caracole's Fall 2023 collection together with its taller siblings, the Alpha and the Beta, and the three were drawn to be used as a set. Each has a Guangxi white stone top, but the Gamma sets its stone within the frame rather than on top of it, so the top reads as a jewel held in a setting. The proportions are deliberately vertical: 24 inches high on a footprint only six inches across, which lets it stand in a tight spot without visually blocking anything behind it. In South Florida rooms the Caracole Gamma Spot Table often ends up doing double duty, holding a coffee cup by a Coconut Grove window seat in the morning and a cocktail on a Brickell balcony that evening. Grouped with the Alpha and Beta it forms a stepped composition of heights and diameters that reads as sculpture more than furniture.
