A modern reading of classical Roman furniture, the Caracole Helena Sofa stretches an 88-inch, deep-scooped wood frame into one sweeping line and finishes it in Ivory Craze, a crackled surface edged with Brushed Gold paint. The standout feature is the frame itself: exposed wood arms, a wood tiered base in Charred Bark and Brushed Gold metal corner appliques at floor level. Inside, a plush cushion and roll pillows in Mushroom faux mohair velvet make it as comfortable as it is regal.

Design & Craftsmanship

Introduced in Caracole's Spring 2024 collection, the Helena layers three finishes on one frame: the Ivory Craze crackled finish on the scooped arms, Brushed Gold paint along the trim, and Charred Bark on the tiered base. The seat is webbed with a plush poly foam cushion, while fiber-filled bolster pillows at each end soften the exposed wood. The faux mohair velvet in Mushroom is a warm, greyed taupe that lets the gold and ivory do the talking.
