Tailored and quietly dramatic, the Caracole Moderne Bed pairs a quilted upholstered headboard with an exposed wood frame for a bedroom that feels finished the moment it is made. The neutral tweed headboard carries a contemporary herringbone quilting pattern, and a fumed figured eucalyptus edge in Aged Bourbon outlines it with warmth. It suits anyone who wants an upholstered bed with real texture, offered here in two sizes.
Design & Craftsmanship
Introduced in Caracole's Spring 2017 collection, the design continues the Aged Bourbon eucalyptus from the headboard trim down to the footboard and side rails, which are bolstered along the top edge with the same tweed fabric. The bed ships with a slat roll for bedding support, so box springs are not required, and the mattress sits within a clean rectangular frame.
In a Pinecrest primary suite or a high-rise bedroom in Brickell, the Caracole Moderne Bed brings a soft neutral upholstered look balanced by dark wood tones that pair easily with walnut nightstands and linen bedding. The quilting reads as pattern without competing with art or drapery.
