Its elongated seat and integrated bolster pillow are meticulously tailored in a luxuriously soft velvet, and the whole seat nestles inside a frame wrapped in Ivory Painted Faux Shagreen. Subtly contrasting wood caps in Mountain Smoke and metal saber legs in warm Brushed Gold finish the look. Introduced in Fall 2023 as part of the Bench and Ottoman Collection, this velvet chaise is proportioned for a bedroom, an upstairs landing or a reading nook rather than a cavernous great room.
Design & Craftsmanship
The faux shagreen frame is the detail people touch first: the ivory painted surface has the fine, granular texture of stingray skin and it wraps the entire base, meeting the velvet at a crisp edge. Mountain Smoke wood caps at the corners add a darker note that keeps the ivory from feeling too sweet, and the Brushed Gold saber legs lift the chaise off the floor with a slight outward flare.
