The Pondering was introduced in Caracole's Spring 2023 collection. The wide Ash Driftwood frame has a weathered, sand-toned finish that adds warmth and organic texture to walls and interiors, and it blends seamlessly with linen, rattan, pale oak and stone. Inside the frame sits a 1 1/4-inch bevelled mirror, whose angled edge catches light and gives the reflection a crisp border. The piece is designed as a floor mirror and comes with an anti-tip kit so it can be secured to the wall while keeping its leaning stance. In a Key Biscayne beach house the driftwood tone echoes the shoreline, while in a Coral Gables Mediterranean home it softens plaster walls and dark wood floors.
