Design & Craftsmanship

Introduced in Caracole's Fall 2024 collection, the Salver is built on a subtly curved poplar wood frame finished in Oracle Silver Leaf, a hand-applied leaf that glints rather than shines flatly. The Oracle Silver Leaf frame is complemented at each corner by a decorative metal accent in Polished Silver paint, echoing the pressed corners of a tray. The glass is beveled with a 1-inch bevel, which throws a fine line of light around the edge of every reflection. The mirror is designed to be placed vertically on the floor and comes with a tip kit to secure it; Caracole notes that it is not intended to hang on the wall and recommends consulting a professional installer if wall mounting is required.
