Caracole Salver Mirror

Named for the classic silver serving tray, the Caracole Salver Mirror celebrates simplicity in form and material. A subtly curved poplar wood frame is finished in glinting Oracle Silver Leaf and set off by metal corner details in Polished Silver paint, while the glass itself carries a one-inch bevel that draws a bright line of light around the reflection. At 48 by 30 inches it can hang horizontally over a console or credenza, or vertically in an entry or dressing area. It is a beveled wall mirror for the host who values well-set occasions and quiet elegance.

Design & Craftsmanship

Introduced in Caracole's Spring 2023 collection, the Salver is built on a gentle curve. The poplar frame bows softly rather than sitting flat, so the silver leaf catches light along its length. Oracle Silver Leaf gives the wood a soft metallic glint, and the four Polished Silver corner accents recall the corner mounts of a traditional tray. Caracole designed the piece to hang either horizontally or vertically. In a Coral Gables dining room the Caracole Salver Mirror doubles the glow of a chandelier over a buffet; in a Brickell or Aventura condo hallway, hung vertically, it lengthens a narrow space and carries daylight deeper into the apartment. The Oracle Silver Leaf frame works with chrome, nickel and glass as easily as with lacquered wood.
