Caracole Traverse Bench

With its seat cascading over the ends of the frame in a soft waterfall curve, the Caracole Traverse Bench reads as one continuous gesture rather than a cushion on legs. The upholstery is a smooth dark taupe velvet, and the frame beneath it is finished in Silver Driftwood, a wood treatment with subtle shimmer and visible grain. Caracole designed this waterfall bench for the end of a bed, but at 56 inches wide it is just as useful in a hallway, an entry or below a large piece of art in a living room.

Design & Craftsmanship

Introduced in Caracole's Fall 2025 collection and part of the brand's Bench & Ottoman Collection, the Traverse mixes organic simplicity with notes of glamour. The velvet upholstered bench top is smooth and unfussy, letting the curve do the talking, while the Silver Driftwood frame adds a rustic-yet-refined texture that catches light along its edges. That combination of soft taupe and silvered wood is well suited to South Florida interiors: it warms up the white walls and pale floors common in Pinecrest and Coral Gables homes without introducing heavy color. At 19 inches high, the seat aligns with most bed heights, and the 18-inch depth keeps the piece out of walkways.
