Description

The Global Views La Femme Baignoire reimagines "The Bathing Lady," a whimsically sensual figure originally sculpted by the newly-discovered Parisian artist Francois-Rene Bergeron in the late 1970s and finished with a French White Plaster finish. This whimsical figural bowl is elegant and playful at once, making a conversation-starting accent for a console table, powder room, or bookshelf.

Design & Craftsmanship

Part of Global Views' La Femme collection, this piece is cast stone composite sculpture work finished in a soft plaster surface that highlights every curve of the figure. The Global Views La Femme Baignoire is made in China from an eco-friendly stone composite, staying true to Bergeron's original sensual, sculptural lines from the 1970s. The low, elongated bowl form doubles as a catch-all or a stand-alone object, so it earns its place even when nothing is set inside it. In a Coconut Grove powder room or a Brickell den, its pale plaster finish and figural form add a playful, art-forward touch without competing with other decor nearby.
