Designed as an artful perch for sculpture, the Global Views Tristan Pedestal pairs a softly rounded profile with a gentle taper from top to base. It is a tapered wood pedestal that feels warm instead of gallery-cold, and it comes in two heights so you can stage objects at different levels. Set one beside a sofa to lift a bronze figure, flank a fireplace with a pair, or cluster both sizes in an entry for a layered display of pottery and art.

Design & Craftsmanship

Ashley Childers created the Tristan collection for Global Views with display in mind. The Global Views Tristan Pedestal is made from manufactured wood, MDF, pine and oak veneer, completed in a natural oak finish that keeps the look light and honest to the material. Its rounded, tapered shape is timeless enough for a classic room yet clean enough to read as modern. Production takes place in China.

These pedestals look beautiful alone and even stronger grouped together, and that idea works well in a Pinecrest family room with tall ceilings: pair the 44" height with the 32" height and give each a different object. In a Key Biscayne apartment, a single medium pedestal becomes a sculpture display column between two windows, drawing the eye without crowding the floor.
