The Gemini Handmade Rug is made by Surya in India with hand-tufted construction, where artisans punch viscose yarn through a backing to build the design before shearing it to a low pile of 0.50" or less. The low profile suits doors with little clearance and chairs that slide. The Gemini collection keeps its design simple, letting beige, denim, light gray and navy carry the room. As a hand-tufted viscose rug it has a subtle lustre that shifts as you move around it.
In an Aventura high-rise or a Doral townhouse, the cool blues and grays echo water and sky, a natural fit for coastal-leaning modern interiors. Care is spot clean only, and the rug carries a one-year limited warranty.
