A hallway deserves more than a plain shelf, and the Theodore Alexander Bouquet Console Table answers with a field of inlaid flowers. Six veneers, maple, sycamore, satinwood, movingue, ash and pine, are cut into a pattern that spreads over the clean planes of the piece, which rests on gently slanted full-width legs. At 56.5 inches wide and 30 inches high it fits behind a sofa or along an entry wall, and it gives a quiet corridor a reason to slow down.
Design & Craftsmanship
The two available finishes read differently: Buttercream (PCF1255) is pale and creamy, while Toasted Cashew (PCF1256) is a warmer nut tone, and stainless steel accents follow the structure to keep the edges crisp. The legs are wide panels rather than turned posts, angled just enough to look poised instead of static, and an anti-tip kit is supplied so the piece can be secured to a wall. The Theodore Alexander Bouquet Console Table belongs to the Bouquet collection, which also includes a cocktail table in the same inlay for a matched room. In Coconut Grove or Key Biscayne a Buttercream finish lifts a shaded hallway; in Brickell the darker tone grounds a bright one, and either way the marquetry console stays the focal point.
