Sixty-eight inches long and only 16 deep, the Theodore Alexander Catalina Branch Console fills a wall without taking the room. Figured ash runs the length of the top, finished in a stone-like porous treatment, and the whole surface is carried on branch-form cast metal legs in a dark Volcanic finish. It is a long entryway console by instinct, though it works just as well behind a deep sofa or under a large piece of art in a dining room.
Design & Craftsmanship
Ash veneer and composite make up the case, with aluminium cast into the legs, and the pairing is the point: smooth figured wood above, textured branching metal below. The Mineral finish top is porous and stone-like rather than glossy, which keeps fingerprints and glare down in bright rooms. Earth (PCF1177.2G) and Dune (PCF1176.2G) are both available, and both come from Theodore Alexander's Catalina collection, so the console can be paired with accent tables in the same two colourways.
