The Theodore Alexander Celia Console Table is a classic form rebuilt with unusual care: a Bianco Carrara marble top cut as a breakfront, framed in mahogany and outlined with Greek key detailing that is reprised in the tiers below. At 60 inches wide it fills a long entry wall or floats behind a sofa in a generously scaled room.
Design & Craftsmanship
Khaya wood and khaya veneer build the frame, makore veneer faces the tiers, and marble supplies the surface, whose natural figure varies from piece to piece. Eight turned legs with gilt banding carry the whole assembly, and the listed finish materials are Painted Gold AH (PCF1066.2A) and Cambridge AH (VCF1557.2A-1), photographed in the Cambridge finish with gold details. Drawn by Alexa Hampton for her collection, it shares a vocabulary with other case pieces in that group, and an anti-tip kit is supplied. The Theodore Alexander Celia Console Table looks at home in a Coral Gables entry hall, a Miami Beach living room, or a Pinecrest dining room where it is pressed into service for buffets.
