Hamilton Sideboard

Modelled on a favourite French antique buffet, the Theodore Alexander Hamilton Sideboard runs 91 inches long beneath a Bianco Carrara marble surface with sculpted corners. Fluted column uprights and cast brass handles give the front its rhythm, and the doors and drawers behind them turn the whole piece into serious dining room storage.

Design & Craftsmanship

The case is built from mahogany solids and crown veneer, listed as khaya wood and khaya veneer, with aluminum in the cast detailing and marble above. Cotton-reel cast capitals finish the columns, moulding frames each door and drawer front, and the turned, fluted tapering legs wear a hand painted metallic brass finish. The listed finish materials are Painted Gold AH (PCF1066.2A) and Cambridge AH (VCF1557.2A-5), photographed in the Cambridge finish with gold detail; an anti-tip kit is included.
