Almost six feet long and just 15 inches deep, the Theodore Alexander Judith Leiber Console Table was drawn for the walls other furniture cannot use: behind a floating sofa, down a wide hallway, or as an entryway console beneath a large mirror. Oak wood and oak veneer are worked with brass and mother of pearl, and the top stands at a comfortable 32 inches.
Design & Craftsmanship
Judith Leiber Couture furniture is meticulously artisan made, and on an oak and brass console of this length that matters: the frame has to stay true across 71.75 inches. Mink (VCF1953) is offered as SKU TA53139.C385 and JL Martini (VCF1952) as SKU TA53139.C386, with mother of pearl and brass appearing in both. An anti-tip kit is supplied so the piece can be secured to the wall, which is worth doing in a house with children or in a Miami Beach apartment where the console carries lamps. The Theodore Alexander Judith Leiber Console Table suits Brickell entries and Coral Gables hallways, and companion pieces from the same collection can be ordered in the matching finish.
