Repose Rectangular Extension Dining Table

Eight for dinner most nights, twelve when the family lands: the Theodore Alexander Repose Rectangular Extension Dining Table handles both without a second table. Two 18-inch leaves drop in, the top slides back together, and the room absorbs four more chairs.

Design & Craftsmanship

Handcrafted quarter straight-cut oak veneer covers the surface, and the beveled edge veneered top angles down at the rim so a table 47 inches deep still looks light from across the room. Grey Oak, code PCF1175.1K2HA3F, comes with a Grey Visible Inner, PCF1194; Charcoal Oak, PCF1186.1L2HA3F, is matched with a Charcoal Visible Inner, PCF1192, which means the mechanism you see while extending is finished to the same standard as the outside. The Theodore Alexander Repose Rectangular Extension Dining Table shares those two finishes with the rest of the Repose collection, so a console or a round table can be specified to match.

In an Aventura residence the shorter 98-inch setting suits daily life while the 134-inch opening covers holidays, which is the whole argument for an extendable dining table rather than a fixed one.
