One hundred inches long and only 28 high, the Theodore Alexander Repose Wooden Media Console holds a screen at sofa eye level and puts everything that feeds it behind doors. Solid oak and oak veneer wrap the case, which rests on a plinth base, and the glazed centre section means a remote still works with the doors closed.
Design & Craftsmanship
Behind that glass sit adjustable shelves for components; at either end a curved door swings open onto two small shelves for the cables and discs that would otherwise collect on top. Openings in the back panel vent the media bay, which is worth having when equipment warms up over a Miami summer, and an anti-tip kit is supplied with the cabinet. Two oak tones are produced on one identical carcass: the Grey Oak finish, coded PCF1175.1K2HA3F, and the Charcoal Oak finish, coded PCF1186.1L2HA3F, both wearing the same grain and the same quiet horizontal line.
