Theodore Alexander's Spencer London collection was drawn from Lord Spencer's London townhouse, and this console is its most graphic member: structure in metal, surface in stone, no ornament in between. The brass carries finish code MCF122, hand-applied so the tone stays even across the full length of the frame, and the quartz slab on top is dense enough to live with daily use in a humid climate. At 32 inches high it also works behind a floating sofa, where the back of the piece is as visible as the front.
