Urbane 80-Inch Console Table

Eighty inches long and only 13.75 inches deep, the Theodore Alexander Urbane 80-Inch Console Table fills a long wall without stealing walking room. The carcase is wire-brushed pine with pine veneer, and the custom aluminium hardware takes its pattern from the texture of lizard skin, a small piece of detail against all that open timber. As an entryway console table it holds a lamp, a tray and a run of art above it.

Design & Craftsmanship

This is the longest console in the Urbane group, a collection built around brushed pine and a casual, fashion-forward look. Pine wood and pine veneer form the body, aluminium supplies the lizard skin hardware, and the piece is offered in the same two tones as the rest of the range: Sundew, PCF1247, and the darker Campfire, VCF2026. A 32-inch height clears most sofa backs, and the shallow depth is deliberate, since an eight-foot console in a hallway has to leave the hallway usable. An anti-tip kit is provided so the console can be anchored securely.
