Almost eight feet tall and nearly five feet wide, the Theodore Alexander Spencer London Floor Mirror is architecture as much as furniture. It leans against the wall on a 7.75" deep base, reflecting an entire room rather than a portrait view, and the wide sycamore veneer frame gives the glass a border substantial enough to hold its own in a high-ceilinged space.

Design & Craftsmanship

The structure is maple wood with sycamore veneer, finished either in Fulham finish (VCF1973) or Chelsea (VCF1972), the two colourways Theodore Alexander offers for this piece. Both come from the Spencer London collection, drawn from Lord Spencer's London townhouse and built around figured sycamore, maple and khaya crotch wood, so the mirror pairs naturally with the dressers and chests in the same group. At 191.8 lb it is a two-person piece and should be secured to the wall behind it. Standing in a Coconut Grove primary bedroom or a Miami Beach dressing room, the Theodore Alexander Spencer London Floor Mirror works as a full-length mirror for dressing and as a light source in its own right, bouncing afternoon sun back across the floor.
