The Caracole Gelee Media Console is an 80-inch sideboard that works equally well beneath a wall-mounted television or as serving storage in a dining room or entry. Its name suggests the look: a glossy, jewel-like case that appears poured rather than built, sitting on a base in Oracle and trimmed in Whisper of Gold metal. It is for buyers who want color and shine at the center of a room, with four generous drawers behind the facade.

Design & Craftsmanship

The Gelee is offered in two colorways. The first finishes the case in Apatite Gloss, a high gloss sideboard finish, with the base in Oracle, Caracole's hand-applied leaf finish, and metal trim in Whisper of Gold; the drawer interiors are painted to match. The second colorway is a three-tone composition: the center section of the case in Caramello Gloss, the outer sections in Chocolate Truffle (listed by Caracole as Dark Chocolate Gloss), the base again in Oracle with Whisper of Gold metal trim, and the interior finished in Dark Chocolate. In both versions, four drawers open with top hand pulls and glide on soft-close undermount guides. In an Aventura penthouse or a Coral Gables great room, the Caracole Gelee Media Console gives a television wall a note of glamour.
