With its generous scale and organic curves, the Global Views Casis Table Lamp behaves as much like sculpture as lighting. Each base is formed by hand from earthenware, and the matte black finish gives the silhouette a strong, graphic outline against pale walls. This earthenware lamp creates a memorable moment on a console, a sideboard, a desk or a bedside table.

Design & Craftsmanship

The design comes from Lemieux et Cie for Global Views, and its appeal lies in handmade character. Because the body is shaped by hand rather than cast in a mold, its contours feel relaxed and slightly irregular, which is exactly what makes it modern. Made in Portugal, the Global Views Casis Table Lamp has an enduring form that should look as right in ten years as it does today.

In a Sunny Isles condo dressed in white and warm wood, a pair flanking a bed adds weight and contrast. In a more eclectic space with woven baskets, vintage rugs and plenty of plants, the dark earthenware ties together the layers of texture. Set it on a light stone console to let the silhouette read clearly, or group it with books and a ceramic bowl for a collected look.
