Calais Dresser

Geometry does the talking on the Caracole Calais Dresser, an eight-drawer dresser that sets bow-front drawers slightly inside a crisp rectangular case. The contrast of soft curves against clean lines, plus a reeded base, makes it a natural fit for a transitional bedroom that needs generous bedroom storage without visual bulk. Small ball-pulls in Brushed Gold and a thin finger-groove on the top drawers keep the front uncluttered.

Design & Craftsmanship

The case frame is finished in Rockport Burnished Adobe, while the top, drawer fronts and drawer interiors share a light Almond Milk finish. At the bottom, reeded detailing in Antique Bronze Leaf adds a subtle glow. The top drawers run on side guides and the remaining drawers use soft close undermount guides. One of the hidden touches Caracole is known for waits in the top drawer: a removable felt-lined jewel tray in ivory felt for rings, watches and cufflinks. Introduced in Caracole's Spring 2024 collection, the Caracole Calais Dresser can be paired with other pieces bearing the Calais name.

Its 70" width suits a long wall in a Pinecrest family home, where it can hold folded clothing beneath a mirror or a large piece of art.
