Deep Retreat Sectional Components

The Caracole Deep Retreat Sectional Components are the two armless modules of the Deep Retreat seating program, sold individually so a sectional can be lengthened or rebuilt around an existing corner. Both the armless chair and the deeper armless chaise share a 33.25" back height, a 19" seat and the same tailored proportions, and both stand on fluted legs in Silver Shadow above a plinth base in Dark Chocolate. They are meant for designers specifying a run of seating to an exact wall dimension.

Design & Craftsmanship

Upholstery choices differ slightly between the two pieces. The armless chair is offered in Sand Ribbed Linen (2875-35CC-P) with Ivory Shearling (2877-92CC), while the armless chaise module adds Olive Velvet (2876-55CC) and Grey Stripe Tweed (6125-93CC) to the same pairing. Both are built on an 8-way hand tied seat with a springdown seat cushion, a blendown back cushion and feather down pillows. The fluted detail on the legs and the Dark Chocolate plinth keep the volume from looking heavy, which matters in an Aventura condominium or a Coral Gables living room where the sofa faces a window wall.
