Design & Craftsmanship
The upholstery is Oatmeal Velvet, Caracole fabric 21008-87CC, and it covers the bed from headboard to rails. Below, the base is finished in Soft Silver Paint Gloss, which catches light and lifts the warm velvet tone. A practical detail sets the Caracole Oblique Bed apart: the slats can sit at 12" in the upper position or 7.75" in the lower position, so you can tune the sleeping height to your mattress. It can also accommodate an adjustable bed frame and needs no box spring or other mattress support. In a bright Key Biscayne bedroom or a serene Aventura high-rise, the silver base and soft neutral velvet read calm and refined.
