Fret Knot Corner

The Caracole Fret Knot Corner is the 36.5" square corner module of the Fret Knot seating program, the piece that turns two runs of upholstery into one continuous L. Its signature sits on the outside, where inset carved fret panels are inlaid into the outside backs in a lattice pattern drawn from the narrow castle windows built to let in air and light. A Soft Silver Paint finish lifts the paneled details and the fluted feet. It is for a room where the back of the seating is as visible as the front.

Design & Craftsmanship

Introduced in Caracole's Spring 2020 collection, the corner is upholstered over an 8-way hand tied seat, the most durable seat construction in traditional upholstery, and finished with a springdown loose seat cushion, a scatter pillow tight back and feather down pillows. The 20.5" seat height sits higher than most contemporary sectionals, which makes rising easier and suits a formal living room better than a media room. Tapered fluted conical legs raise the frame just enough to show floor beneath it.
